Bible (Miss Reech)
MV: Matthew 3:16-17”As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.  At
that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove
and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with
him I am well pleased.”  We are continuing to learn about the Trinity and how God can
be 3 persons but still one God. We will not have a Bible test this week.

Spelling (Miss Reech)
We will not have any spelling words this week. Please practice cursive handwriting.

Social Studies (Miss Reech)
We are completing our unit on Canada, our neighbors to the North. We have learned
about the geography and the history of the country. Students received their study
guide on Thursday. The test will not be until the following week. Students will be
completing a green screen project in innovation lab based on Canada.

Science (Mrs. Jaques)
Next week, we will review our unit on climate.  The students will learn the composition of
the air in Earth’s atmosphere and the conditions that affect the climate of a place.
We will have this unit test on Friday, October 18.

Math (Mrs. Jaques)
We will begin Chapter 9 on using multiplication and division to write and evaluate
expressions and equations with variables. The students will also figure out the pattern
of input/output tables and express the rule using equations with variables. On Tuesday,
